Online Collaboration - Allows a group of people to work as one; lets a group of people work together in real-time over the internet to achieve a common goal.
Online Conferencing - hold live meetings, presentations and discussions through the internet.
Encryption - additional layer of security that makes content unreadable for people with malicious intent.
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) - is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.
Feautures of a Good Collaborative Tool
- must fit your preferences
- ease of use
- ability to upload documents
- good security features
*Online Collaborative Tools can be useful to anyone as long as they are willling to work together to achieve a goal.
In our activity, we made a group out of 4 people and used Trello, an example of a Collaborative Tool to create our own website.
